IVOL is an actively managed fixed income ETF, launched in May 2019 by Nancy Davis, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Quadratic Capital. IVOL seeks to hedge relative interest rate movements, whether these movements arise from falling short-term interest rates or rising long-term interest rates, and to benefit from market stress when fixed income volatility increases while providing the potential for enhanced inflation-protected income.

The annual ETF.com awards are designed to recognize the people, companies, and products driving the ETF industry forward and delivering new value to investors. Award winners selected are chosen in a three-part process designed to leverage the insights and opinions of independent ETF experts throughout the ETF industry. IVOL was in good company. The finalists were ETFs issued by Blackrock, Goldman Sachs, VanEck and, Nuveen.

“I am thrilled that ETF-industry experts recognized IVOL as the best new fixed income ETF,” said Nancy Davis, “I believe that in these times of unprecedented uncertainty and market volatility, ETF.com recognized that an allocation to IVOL might potentially benefit investors’ portfolios.”

“We are proud to partner with Nancy Davis and Quadratic Capital to provide investors with institutional-type access to options on the yield curve, through IVOL,” said Jonathan Krane, CEO of Krane Funds Advisors, LLC. “IVOL’s differentiated fixed income strategy is representative of the types of innovative, first-to-market strategies that our partners and we bring to market through our platform.”
